Comments

Well, seeing as how this blog has been released into the wild prematurely, I’m going to go ahead and turn on comments and see if anything happens.

It’s come to my attention that even though I haven’t “officially” launched this thing, whatever that means, I already have a readership of at least one person, and this person is (I’m told) getting tired of waiting for a second post. So… hi Anita! This one’s for you! Hope you enjoy it!

To keep this post from being totally content-free, here’s a link to the world’s biggest waffle iron.

Post the First: In which I finally cave

“What?” I hear some of you saying. “I thought you always said you didn’t need a blog. You said most blogs are totally useless unless the blogger Has Something To Say, or else is so incredibly fun that it doesn’t even matter. You say that all the time. So which one are you now, huh? HUH?”

Okay, you got me. I still don’t Have Anything To Say, and I don’t think I’m so interesting that anyone wants to read about the Stouffer’s lasagna I just heated up or how funny it was when my cat fell off the bed just now. But I do need a place to sort of dump things on occasion so that the four or five people who may find them interesting can find them. And so, here we are. If you’re one of those four or five people, check my home page periodically for updates, or add a syndication feed (Atom, RSS 2.0) to your favorite aggregator.

(Caveat: I can’t promise there won’t occasionally be cat-related items. It is a blog, after all.)
